Improve Privacy in Your Windows Vista Start Menu

by Dave on March 16, 2009

Windows Vista is a cesspool of sin and corruption. You have no rights as a user and cannot do anything without prying eyes being able to track your every move. Or course, I’m kidding. Vista is a very secure Operating System that gives users the ability to allow or disallow items from showing up in the Start Menu. We’re talking about the Recent Items list, specifically. The Recent Items list displays the most recent documents, movies and pictures you’ve been looking at in Windows. While this should not bother most people, I can certainly see how it could bother some.

This video tutorial quickly shows users how to remove that button, as well as some other items from the Start Menu.
