What is This Wii Fit Game?

So the Wii Fit game is out and everyone is talking about it–well, those people that can find one in the stores and buy them, that is. It seems there is a shortage of Wii Fit games, just as there is still a shortage of Wii Consoles. Remarkably, you can find a ton of them on Ebay. Maybe Nintendo should skid traditional retailers and go directly to Ebay with it’s products. But I digress. Let’s assume the improbable and say you manage to have a Wii AND the new Wii Fit game. Do we Americans really think this plastic thing is going to help us loose those extra inches and pounds we’re squeezing into our Jeans each day? I don’t. I personally think multitudes of Americans will drop dead first. But those are the heavier of us. Most of us will love the game and actually benefit from aerobic and strength training exercises. So wipe the Doritos off your stomach and get in shape, America!

Buy A Wii Fit

The main hardware of the Wii Fit game is the Wii Balance Boardâ„¢ . This piece of hardware doubles as a scale and a platform that senses your balance and body movements. While you also use the other controllers that come with the Wii for some tasks–the Wii Balance Boardâ„¢ is used almost all of the time.

The best thing is, your Mii starts out as fat and lazy as you are, but as you drop the weight, the Mii shrinks in proportion. But be prepared to get insulted. When you first start the game, Wii Fit will force you to do a body mass index. If you’re obese, it will tell you, and if you gain weight, it will certainly let you know.

The price might seem a little high at around $185.00, but the benefits you’ll get will be worth the purchase price. If it makes you feel better and improves your health, what more can you ask?
