This is a Linux distro that runs entirely from a CD that you burn Knoppix to and boot up when you first start Windows. This is a great tool for computer techs who are testing hardware or Windows users who are curious about Linux, yet are not ready to run it full time. Download Knoppix and burn the .iso image to a CD using your burning software. When you’re done running Knoppix, simply restart the computer and take the CD out of the drive.
